Last time I blogged, I mentioned that Jenny and I had new books coming out, and then was frustratingly vague on details. Now I get to tell you about it!
Introducing: Fae Haven
Jenny and I are happy to introduce our new series, Fae Haven! Fae Haven is an urban fantasy series where our modern world meets the magical world of the fae. Set in the fictional college town of Haven City, Utah, the Fae Haven stories are about finding love when you least expect it, about making a home in your heart for the special someone you never saw coming, and about the magic to be found in the simplest true love’s kiss.
And the first book in this series comes out next week, thanks to the wonderful people at Loose Id!
A Year and a Day
Reserved, bookish Ben isn’t looking for a relationship. Then he meets Niall, a gorgeous stranger with a knack for avoiding direct questions, and tumbles headfirst into love. Niall is perfect in just about every way, right up until he leaves town for a short trip…and vanishes off the face of the earth.
A magical being trapped in his own realm, Niall has to fight to come back to this world for the chance to be with Ben. But by the time he gets back, more than a year has passed, and Ben refuses to believe Niall’s story of Fae and magic.
With only a month to woo Ben back and earn a chance at staying here permanently, Niall is willing to try anything to be with the man he loves. Then Niall’s world spills over into ours and puts Ben’s life in danger, forcing them work together to save Ben before their stolen time comes to an end.
Ready for the amazing cover by the incredibly talented Mina Carter?
We have not stopped flailing since we got the email with this cover! And I don’t know about you, but I might have tried to lick Ben’s abs if I hadn’t first viewed this on my phone. In the middle of the mall. Sitting three feet from my husband.
This is our first new release in years, and Jenny and I couldn’t be happier!
(some of you might notice that we do not have a tagline, despite my threats last time. I have been reliably informed that there is a time and a place for what passes for my twisted brand of humor, etc, etc. Which means Funk Nasty! is off the very short list of options. Back to the drawing board!)
Correction: an earlier version of this post listed the wrong cover artist. The cover for a Year and a Day is by the lovely Mina Carter
