Jenny and I are kind of reeling from the past few days here in Denver, but we wanted to take a few minutes to say hello and thank you to everyone we’ve met this weekend. It’s hard to believe it’s only Saturday, that tomorrow we all head home and back to business as usual. Especially after getting the chance to actually talk to people who’ve read our stuff. Not to mention the serious hurt I’m doing to my TBR pile.
If we both vanish for months on end, you can blame it on the stack of books Jenny and I each have acquired. Just saying.
Speaking of picking things up, if you’re here in Denver, come find me for swag. I do NOT want to ship this stuff back home. We have a zillion drawstring bags in need of a good home. Pens, too.
So What’s Next?
My brain is BUZZING with ideas for more books. It’s like my plot brain has been feeding off the amazing creative energy all around me, and I can’t wait to dive into a new project. As soon as I figure out which one gets to be first, that is. And with NaNo coming up on us, I’m thinking it’s going to be a hell of a wild ride.
Plus, Jenny and I have some tweaking to do on Whiskey Tango Foxtrot before we send it in to our editor (and before Jenny will even think about discussing a sequel with me. Something about taking shit one step at a time. IDEK.)
So, confession time: I’m terrible with names. Plus, there have been so many new faces over the past few days. But I want to get to know so many of you, so consider this our own little “missed connection.” If we met this weekend, drop us a comment here. I’d love to hear about your GRL experience!
